I really have to thin out my collection, so these autos are for sale. All of the cars are kept in my warehouse in Indiana, and none ever see rain or snow, or hot sunshine on a dashboard.

Ex-EFI, one of 21 built, one of 9 survivors

1948 DAIMLER DE36 limousine by Hooper (51236)

This is the actual winner of the 1948 Earl’s Court coachbuilding competition, the first post-WWII show. Hooper aluminium body over ash frame. No warp anywhere.

5.4 litre OHV straight 8, Wilson Pre-Select 4 speed transmission

Restored and rebuilt underneath, including new transmission mounts and seals. Hundreds of hours spent.

New leather seats, exact colour and pattern match to originals

Electric division (true limousine), side facing servant’s folding seat, drinks cabinet, folding writing desk

Only 205 DE36s were built from 1946 to 1953. There was no standard body. All were coachbuilt.
