Car of the month : 1971 Chrysler New Yorker

01-05-08 : It’s the first of the month again, and time for another car of the month. I have not received any requests to publish, so it’s from my own collection again.

This beauty has 57,191 original miles, and is probably my favourite car. I love her.

I bought her in West Virginia in February 2007.

She’s fully loaded and rust free.

I learned an important lesson with this car. It’s really obvious when you think about it, but I hadn’t though it through beforehand.

You don’t have to spend big money to enjoy an old car.

I paid only $2,705 (OK, I got her for a really good price) for this MoPar, and yet she’s my favourite car.
